In fact I think that MS want to have the ball this time and dont let MONO to be the open source alternative, they want to be that option and that all look to them waiting for a final open source like Java (that I dont think that this never happend)

But I have a correction about codeproject… I have published 2 articles there and I know that all the code that is posted there is completely FREE for comercial and no commercial use, you only need mantain the copyright to the author but any autorization and special license at all.

So is not a copyright violation to copy & paste in codeproject

These are the rules for the articles:

http://www.codeproject.com/info/submit.asp

“If you post to CodeProject then you retain copyright of your article and code. You also give CodeProject permission to use it in a fair manner and also permit other developers to use the sourcecode associated with your articles in their own applications as long as they do not remove your copyright notices or try and take credit for your work.

Note that we do not accept time limited, shareware contributions or binary-only contributions. All code that is available from our site must be available for use without registration or licence fees and without time restrictions, and all applications or binaries submitted must contain source code. CodeProject is a place to share source code, not applications or components. ”

Best Regards
Marcos
