Fixing Intel compatibility problems between Linux Distro’s is fun!!!

No seriously!!! I really enjoyed it! Using GDB to fix other people stupid mistakes and assumptions is fun, especially when you get results.

Score 1 for work! Yes, I feel like I should get paid about twice what I get paid, considering what I do, but at the same time, no stress is nice.

Women’s hockey team wins CCWHA championship

March madness isn’t reserved for the hard court as Oakland University’s women’s hockey club demonstrated this past weekend. Ranked fourth and with a sub .500 record, OU’s women’s team entered the Central Collegiate Women’s Hockey Association Tournament as a decided underdog. Their underdog status changed to champions after defeating two-time defending champion Michigan State University in a shootout for the team’s first-ever CCWHA championship.

I had a good weekend. Hung out with friends. I slept a lot of Saturday and gargled with hydrogen peroxide, so my sinus and throat infarction is better now.

I’m still tired, and not ready to go to work on monday. I never am ready.

I listened to “This American Life” on my drive home today. It was two interesting stories, but I disagreed with the propoganda of both of them. I found them deceptive and unclear on the facts. The second one was about acuracy, or lack thereof, in public opinions polls. Hrm, are we sure about that, lets have a poll about the acuracy of polls.

typing my own IMAP protocol commands in an SSL session makes me feel like a powerful admin…

finding out that message flags are per user on my mail server makes me angry.

In just its fifth season of play, the Oakland University Men’s Hockey Club has won a national championship. Freshman forward Jordan Ingram scored in the second period against New York University to seal OU’s 5-1 victory in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division II National Tournament final March 6 at the University of Maryland.

GO OU!
