OMG.  I can’t believe I just ported my rpmListSync program from perl to Java.

GO ME!

It was easier than I thought.

Java is starting to own.

Now to slap a GUI front end on it 😉  hehe.  Not that I have done GUI FE in Java at all in the last 7 years… but I did once about 8 years ago… hehe.  I remember doing AWT and wishing swing were standard… about a year later Java 1.2 came out.  HEhe… these days are a bit different.

I sure am bored.

At least Rant is playing some good shit.  They need to get some Sterile in the mix.

so my java could bring all the kiddies to the yard.. but what would that java look like?

Need a change of pace… tired of working on same old stuff.  Trying to set that pace myself, but it is difficult to focus when there is no concrete task at hand. *sigh*  Typical programmer RUT.

Looking forward to the weekend.  With much of the house purchase stuff behind us… well the PURCHASE stuff is behind us, it is a little weight off the shoulders.  Still need to close on the Penthouse Condo.

Finished reading a good real estate book last night.  It was old, and you can tell, especially in the case of example dollar figures, but in general I think it holds true.
