Well, I’m actually doing it…

Getting around to messing with Tapestry.  The biggest thing J2EE has going AGAINST it right now is TOO MANY CHOICES.  Good lord I can fill a page with all the options one has for frameworks and libraries, just to make a damn webpage.

Oh well, it beats the usual PHP.

This really is how the “silent majority” in america feels.  Many of them aren’t as ignorant or completely uninformed as some might have you think.  They are simply not listening to the lies spewed forth by certain people.

I need to deal with this like a good person.  I am jealous.

Yup, it is true.  There is this dude in this cube next to me of whom I am totally jealous.

Ya see… he has the cushy job doing pretty much nothing all day long, and he gets paid WAY more than I do.  He doesn’t know JACK SHIT about his job, and he doesn’t seem to care to learn.  I could do his job and do it way better than him.

I’m not so much jealous of not knowing what I’m doing… I like knowing.  I’m jealous of the DOLLAR.  I want a fucking buck.

Awesome thing just happened… the Boss IM’s me and asks me to come see him…

no biggie… so I go…

So with you moving, would scheduling your hours to 4 days a week be benefitial?

Hehe… I was going to ask anyway, but I didn’t even have to.  He asked ME.  I think that is pretty cool.  He has to clear it with his boss, but hopefully I’ll be doing my 40hrs in 4 days pretty soon.  seven am to six pm – ugh… but at least traffic will be better.

Still, I’m impressed by the boss anticipating my needs.  Chalk one up for the good management.

Work was cool today, I decided to mess with suphp.  So it was pretty easy and straight forward to get compiled, so I went for the glory.  I changed the handler name so that it will work concurrent with mod_php.  I tweaked out the settings for working with Mandrake, and I built a spec file and built the RPMS.

TOTALLY SWEET.

Uploaded to incoming… maybe it will be in 10.1… who knows 😉
